About the Artist

Multimedia artist and Iowa native now living in the Pacific Northwest. When not working in my home studio I am outdoors exploring our world! 

Sustainability is important to me and has naturally become a strong theme in my artwork. I often utilize home décor from secondhand stores and garage sales to refurbish and create from. My work aims to bring attention to materialism and its effects on the natural world. I often use a combination of layering and sanding to create texture and depth in a piece. These textures can represent abstracted stages of age in weathering and foliage. It brings me tremendous joy to give overlooked materials new life.
